Living Room Edition
Well… this year… Christmas went up early and it also was taken down by December 26th.
With a little bit of help from our Friend Jane, and Nikcole….we were able to take it down and fully decorate for that “all year round look” even before New Years Eve.
Jane and Nikcole, have an amazing eye for how things could and should look to make your home feel cozy but also with a little bit of magazine “wow”. If your wanting to make your home feel this way, or you want ideas to make your home more appealing BEFORE you list to sell, check out some of these tips!
First, do not feel like you need to go out and buy a bunch of stuff. Like Jane and Nikcole say, “ you have a lot of stuff it is just how you place them to make them work”. Although you may need to add some fun things to make it feel complete… Gather what you have and place it all on your kitchen table.

Second, start placing everything in three’s on your shelf. As seen in the photo below. Coordinate the Colours you want and the look you want to have. As mentioned, use what you have!! These books holding up the candle and prayer beads, are cookbooks I had randomly hidden away in a cupboard.

Third, We added this mirror on the other side. This mirror was purchased from Structube and you can find the link to it here. It added such elegance and space to the living room. It reflected our Christmas Tree during Christmas and now the outside view and those Candles. Loved the idea of it when it was mentioned to me and so HAD to purchase it.

Fourth, match your pillows and throws with the colour you are adding in. Do not ever over do it. Whites, and neutrals should always be your base with the splashes of colour here and there.

As you can see in this living room… Whites, woods, Neutrals are the MAIN. The pink colour and gold tones are added in as you can see in the candlesticks, the cookbooks, and the throws.
Thanks for reading our first Blog post. Let us know what you think. We would love to hear from you.
